Blaser Swisslube is a globally active company in the metalworking fluid sector. The independent and family-owned Swiss company was founded in 1936 and has since grown from a small business into a global player, employing 550 people worldwide. The company develops and produces high-quality metalworking fluids that provide added value to the customers and are friendly to humans and environment. The Blasocut metalworking fluids have been the core competence of the company for 40 years. In 2001, Blaser Swisslube established its Chinese subsidiaries in Shanghai and Beijing. The Asia-Pacific region Head Office settled in Science Park in April 2014.
The unique Blasocut Bio-concept products – the alternative to conventional, preserved metalworking fluids
In Bio-Concept products, which are marketed under the trade name Blasocut, a deliberate effort is made not to use bactericides and to promote the presence of specific, harmless, waterborne bacteria – the so-called primary bacteria; these bacteria take up the biosphere of the metalworking fluid and keep "foreign bacteria" out. The primary bacteria pose no harm to people or the metalworking fluid in any way. Other, more aggressive bacteria that may enter into the metalworking fluid at any time would not find any nutrition and thus have no basis for propagation. Therefore, the Blasocut Bio-Concept metalworking fluids are stable in every respect.
